First step for using GPS<\/h1>\n

Installing the Batteries<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Remove the bsttery cover by turning the D-ring 1\/4 turn counterclockwise and pulling up.<\/p>\n 2. Insert the batteries, observing polarity.<\/p>\n 3. Replace the battery cover<\/p>\n Long-Term Storage<\/strong><\/p>\n When you do not plan to use the device for several months, remove the batteries. Stored data is not lost when batteries are removed<\/p>\n Check the Signal<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Press page button to Main menu<\/p>\n 2. Go to Satellite menu<\/p>\n 3. Press enter button<\/p>\n 4. Wait until GPS accuracy less than 10 meter. (in the upper right corner)<\/p>\n Check the Projection and Units<\/strong><\/p>\n Check only once time.<\/p>\n 1. Press page button to Main menu<\/p>\n 2. Go to Setup menu<\/p>\n 3. Go to Position Format menu checking<\/p>\n 4. Select<\/p>\n Position Format: UTM UPS<\/p>\n Map Datum: WGS84<\/p>\n 5. Go to Units menu checking<\/p>\n 6. Select<\/p>\n Set the unit as meters or metric<\/p>\n 7. Go to Time menu checking<\/p>\n 8. \nWaypoints are locations you record and store in the device.<\/p>\n
\n1. From any page, press MARK<\/strong>.
\n2. Select Done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\nYon can use the search menu to quickly find waypoints, track, routes, and coordinates thart you have saved.<\/p>\n
\n2. Select Waypoint<\/strong>.
\n3. Select waypoint.
\n4. Select Go<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\nBefore you can edit a waypoint, you must create a waypoint.<\/p>\n
\n2. Select a waypoint.
\n3. Select an attribute (such as the name or location).
\n4. Enter the new information
\n5. Select Done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\n1. From the main menu, select Waypoint Manager<\/strong>.
